The founder and first principal of Qadri College was Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Qadri (Late), a distinguished nursing professional who began his career as a staff nurse and later served as Principal, Controller, and Director of Nursing. Mr. Qadri also contributed to Pakistan’s nursing community by serving as a Member of Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and conducting inspections nationwide. His passion for teaching led him to author 19 books, known as the Qadri Master Guide, which are widely used as references by nursing students in Pakistan.

Qadri College of Health Sciences, Karachi, was established on July 25, 2017, initially offering two specialty programs: PB Psychiatric HN and PB ICU. Over time, the college expanded its offerings, gaining approval for General Nursing and two additional specialties: PB Paeds and PB CCU.
